NICRA’s 85th Annual Meeting

Colorado Springs – Olympic City USA is the most populous city of El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is located just east of the geographic center of the state and 61 miles (98 km) south of the Denver. At 6,035 feet (1839 meters), the city sits over one mile above sea level, though some areas of the city are significantly higher. Colorado Springs is situated near the base of one of the most famous American mountains, Pikes Peak, at the eastern edge of the southern Rocky Mountains.

The Convention Committee has worked hard to produce a trade show and convention that will educate, entertain and enlighten all of the attendees this year.  Due to the popularity of last conventions 3 track seminar system, this years convention will offer similar programs to meet the needs of not only those looking to join the ice cream industry but for those who have been in the industry for many years.

The best part about this approach is you pick the “scoop” track you want to be on. For example, if you are looking to go into business we suggest you stay on the “single scoop” track. This track will teach you how to develop your concept, what resources you’ll need, and find the right location for you. The “double scoop” track will explain how to expand your business, online scheduling techniques, and even teach you how to find/train the right manager for your business, so you don’t have to do it all.

And lastly, the “triple scoop” track will have a lot of informative material on the Food Safety Modernization Act and labeling laws. It will also discuss hiring year-around employees and how to ignite passion in your employees without burning them out.
