Fourteen years ago, Emery Thompson batch freezers moved from The Bronx, NY to its current location. Now they have expanded into their third manufacturing facility in Brooksville, Florida.
Steve Thompson, President and third generation batch freezer manufacturer reports: “Our newest factory will be used to increase our machine shop and enlarge our assembly capabilities. We are also expanding our product line with an innovative new generation of The Original Frozen Custard Machines first made by Emery Thompson in 1923.
Steve also reported that although he misses the food in NY and the Yankees, moving the company to Florida has been a tremendous success for their 114 year old made in the USA family business.
One hundred and fourteen years ago, Emery Thompson designed and patented the world’s first automated batch freezer. For 114 consecutive years our family owned business has been providing the world with the highest quality batch freezers for the production of all levels of hard ice cream (premium, super premium, Hagen Daz, frozen custard), Artisan Gelato, all old world water ice (ITALIAN ICE, sorbet, sorbetto) products and Dairy Free ice cream.
